Atiku Foundation Targets 100,000 Youths For Training In N’ Delta
A Socio-political organisation in Nigeria, Atiku Care Foundation, says it will train over one hundred thousand youths in the Niger Delta in various skills next year.
The Director, Contact/Mobilisation of the organisation South South Zone, Prince Dan Mbachi, who said this during the presentation of award of excellence to Chief Emmanuel Anebo Anele in Port Harcourt, said the orgainisation had already trained over one thousand youths in various skills in the region.
Prince Mbachi also said the foundation which was into peace building programme had made several donations to Internally-Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the North East of Nigeria as well as assisted communities ravaged by flooding in the South South.
He said the Foundation had also identified with the less-privileged in the society such as, the widows, the elderly and orphans.
Mbachi also said the foundation had established its presence in the 23 local government areas of Rivers State and in all the wards stressing that the group was already mobilising the people to vote for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Governor Nyesom Wike.
He stressed the need for the people of Rivers State and the South South to vote for Atiku Abubarker as he has several investments that have created thousands of jobs for the people.

RSG INAUGURATES ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY COMMITTEE
The Rivers State Government has inaugurated a Central Planning Committee to organize the celebration of the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day (AFRD) in the State.
The committee was formally inaugurated by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Benibo Anabraba in Port Harcourt, last Thursday.
Dr Anabraba who also serves as Chairman of the Committee
highlighted the State Government’s deep appreciation for the sacrifices of Nigeria’s fallen heroes who laid down their lives for the nation’s peace and unity.
“These heroes have given their lives for the security and peace of our nation and deserve to be celebrated. The Armed Forces Remembrance Day is an opportunity to show our gratitude for their sacrifice,” he said.
Dr. Anabraba further extended recognition to all Security Agencies in the State, emphasizing the importance of the event in appreciating their contributions to national security and sovereignty.
The annual Armed Forces Remembrance Day, observed on January 15 across the country is dedicated to remember Nigeria’s departed soldiers and honouring the nation’s veterans.
