Nigerian super star songstress, Tiwa Savage who hosted a successful concert in London over the weekend has opened up on some challenges women in Africa face. The award winning Mavin Records queen took to her instagram indicating she is going through hard times.
The sultry mother of one in her post wrote: “It is a sin to be a woman in Africa, I feel like giving up, tired of fighting, tired of proving myself, tired of smiling”.
Meanwhile, the singer held her headline concert on Saturday August 25 at the Ndigo O2 Arena in London. The concert themed the “Savage Tour” was a sold out concert which saw the Nigeria female pop star deliver an impressive set of performances to the excitement and admiration of suests at the event.
A high point of the event was when she was joined by her colleagues at the Mavin Records led by label boss, Don Jazzy, Dr. Sid and Koredo Bello were also on hand to support Tiwa and they performed their songs together, Dr. Sid and Tiwa gave an impressive rendition of their single of “I start to talk”.

However, the other Mavins, Dija, Johnny Drill and DNA Twins were conspicuously missing at the event.

Nollywood Actor, Alexx Ekubo’s family has officially announced the funeral arrangements for the late actor, describing him as a man whose life was filled with love, faith, generosity and compassion.
