RCCG Bestows Outstanding Performance Award On Wike
The Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr Ipalibo Harry Banigo says the State Chief Executive, Chief Nyesom Wike is pre-destined and ordained to rebuild the broken infrastructures of Rivers State.
The deputy governor stated this while receiving Awards of Outstanding Performance on behalf of the governor and herself during the Redeemed Christian Church of God Region 5, 2018 Administrator’s Conference Gala/Award Night in Port Harcourt, last Saturday.
“I want to thank Governor Wike for accepting to work with me as his deputy, and I want to thank the Almighty God for giving me the grace to support this governor whom I know was called as a Cyrus king, according to Isaiah 45 for the sake of God’s elect at a time like this and to rebuild the broken down walls of Rivers State, no wonder he is called Mr. Projects”, Banigo stressed.
Banigo, who said it was instructive to note that the governor was receiving the Outstanding Performance Award from the Redeemed Christian Church of God and the Sun Governor of the Year, 2017 Award simultaneously, noted that it was the handiwork of God.
According to Banigo, this is a period when Nigeria needs seasoned administrators that would take the country out of the woods, noting that that the recent rating of Nigeria by Transparency International, which shows that the country has gone down 12 points in corruption perception index calls for concern.
She said the Wike-led administration will continue to pursue the ideals of excellence, and dedicated her award to the Nigerian girl child, especially the Protect the Girl Child Initiative Campaign and her partners.
Earlier, the wife of the Special Assistant to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God/Pastor in charge of Region 5, Mrs Tamunoemi Obunge, who spoke on the theme, “Sparkling Exceptional Performance: Mastering the Act of Administration”, stressed the need for administrators to have passion for their job and have the right motive at all times to achieve results.
