NWFL: Sule Unhappy Over First Stanza Performance
Last season’s top
scorer in the Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL), Retiat Sule has expressed her disappointment over her performance in the first round of the league.
The former Bayelsa Queens forward who recorded nine goals last season told Rivers Angels media officer Jessica Amadi that she is disappointed with her inability to find the back of the net in the first round.
‘The first round has come and gone and I am not really happy with my performance”.
“I however, hope that the second stanza will be better”, she said.
The attacker made four starts in six matches for the jewels of Rivers in the first stanza but was substituted during those appearances. She hopes the coaching crew will give her more playing time in order to show what she can do.
“One of the challenges is the time, the number of minutes I get to showcase myself on the pitch of play”, she revealed.
“In my former team, I play for the entire game most of the time but here I get 45 minutes plus which is not enough for me.
“I just hope the coach will give me more time on the pitch so that I can show him and the team what I can do”, Sule said.
