Monarch Scores Wike High On Dev Strides
A traditional ruler in Rivers State says the present administration in the state led by Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has justified the mandate given to him through the various developmental projects completed and on-going scattered across the state.
The paramount ruler of Igbo Kingdom, in Etche Local Governmetn Area of the state, Eze Samuel Ndiwe Amaechi who described the state governor as a patriotic son of the state, said he is committed to development.
Eze Amaechi, stated this while speaking with journalists at Obi Wali International Conference Centre in Port Harcourt, on the sideline of the Golden Jubilee celebration of the state and described the various projects of the present administration as monumental and people-oriented.
According to him, Governor Wike has an unparalleled interest in the development of the state, especially in the area of massive road projects and added that the people of the state and indeed Igbo Kingdom will continue to remember his administration for the reconstruction of Rumuokwurusi-Igbo-Chokocho road, which has been in a bad state and abandoned by previous governments in the state.
The traditional ruler, while congratulating the state Governor on the 50th anniversary of the state and democracy, said a lot of transformation has taken place in the state since creation which according to him, call for celebration by all.
The Monarch assured the governor of continued support of his people in his quest to write his name in gold and in the history of the state even as he prayed the Almighty God to continue to endow him with more wisdom and peace of mind to sustain the development of the state.
