Akawor Hails Wike On Oyigbo Projects
As the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike visits Oyigbo Local Government Area of the State tomorrow, to flag off the Oyigbo Mba-ano Camp Eriebe Road project, the former Nigeria’s Ambassador to South Korea, Amb. Desmond Akawor, has described the visit as another milestone in the socio-economic transformation agenda of the Wike administration for the people of the area.
Akawor, the 2015 PDP Campaign Director General in the general elections in the State, who made the remarks in a chat with newsmen, expressed satisfaction with the outstanding and unparalleled infrastructural revolution recorded by the Governor within two years in office, pointing out that Oyigbo was the first beneficiary of the development tour of the governor, during which he commissioned the rehabilitated Oyigbo Market Road project shortly on his assumption of office.
The former Minister of State for FCT urged the people of Oyigbo to turn out en-masse to accord the Governor a rousing welcome in appreciation of his love and development strides for the people of the area, and assured the Governor of the unflinching loyalty and support of the Oyigbo people.
