‘Don’t Judge Nasarawa Utd Yet’
Kabir Dogo has asked that Nasarawa United should not to be judged after they suffered a 1-0 loss to Rivers United on Saturday.
Dogo believes that their inactivity during the mid-season break had an adverse effect on their play.
But he assures his team will take shape after ‘two or three matches’ into the second round of the league.
“This is the first match we have played in the second round of the league, don’t judge us with this first match,” Dogo told newsmen.
“By the time we play two to three matches, the team would have gotten better.
“That little break took its toll on the team. We were a bit slow today against Rivers United.
“I think our host was lucky to be active on the continent during the mid -season break. Had it been they were also starting afresh, it would have affected them too but you know they are in competition mode so the break didn’t affect them much.
Nasarawa United sits ninth in the league table with 27 points from 20 matches.
