Abia Warriors Anticipate Difficulty
The Ucendu Babes find themselves in sixth spot in the NPFL standings and their gaffer is sure of a tough end to the campaign
Abia Warriors coach, Abdullahi Biffo has urged his wards to maintain a high standard during the second round of the season as he anticipates a difficult finish.
The Ucendu Babes ended the first half of the 2016/17 campaign with a 2-0 victory over Wikki Tourist at the Umuahia Township Stadium and are placed sixth in the log.
“The second round would be difficult but I have a quality team and I know how to utilise what we have,” Biffo told newsmen.
“I always say it’s in our hands. We can strive to improve on our current position on the ladder and continue to make a lasting impression. I believe in this current crop of players. They are wonderful guys.
“We want to meet our objective at the end of the campaign. Maybe a continental ticket will make our fans happy.”
