Gov’s Aide Partners SMEDAN On Skills Acquisition
The office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Skills Development Centre Projects in conjunction with the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), is organising a vocational, entrepreneurship and business training for all trainees who have completed their three months training programme under Ibom Skills Development Initiative.
According to the Skill Development Senior Special Assistant, the training with SMEDAN is a follow-up package on the trainees with a view to building a strong capacity, and acquiring marketable skills for self-reliance.
Dr Abasiodiong maintained that, the training is necessary, and will help in ensuring that young people in the state are adequately trained on entrepreneurial skills and equip them positively to contribute to the development and growth of the economy.
Dr Abasiodiong called on all the affected trainees to pick registration forms from the Skills Office from 10am to 4pm daily.
