Association Wants Integration Of Members Into Taskforce
Patron and National
Trustee Chairman in Council for Pharmaceutical Technologists and Technicians Association of Nigeria, Dr. Lawrence Henshaw, has charged the Cross River State Government to integrate members of the association into the proposed task force which government is about to constitute.
Henshaw gave the charge while fielding questions from journalists in company of the association’s state Chairman, Sir Henry Obuagu Tita, shortly after being presented with an award of excellence by the association at a stakeholders’ meeting held at the association‘s secretariat in Calabar.
The duo warned that any attempt by the Cross River State government to exclude their members from belonging to the task force shall be resisted by the association.
“Excluding my members from the task force would amount to sabotaging the effort of our members from excelling in their enterprise,” he said.
The chairman averred that the agitation became necessary so as not to allow the state branch of Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria (PCN) monopolize the drug dispensing market the state and throw the Pharmaceutical Technologists/Technicians Association of Nigeria out of business.
