FRSC Appoints New Zonal Commanding Officer
The Federal Road
Safety Corps (FRSC) has appointed a new Zonal Commanding Officer for Port Harcourt.
He is an Assistant Corps Marshal Jonas Agwu, who took over from Bulus Darwang, who is now the Zonal Commander, Zone one, Kaduna.
According to a statement signed by the Route Commander, Head Public Education and Protocol, Charles Isaiah said that the new Zonal Commanding Officer is to take charge of Rivers, Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa state sector commands.
The statement added that until his new appointment, Agwu was the Zonal Commanding Officer of Zone seven, which comprises the Federal Capital Territory and Niger State.
The two time head of media at the National headquarters is a member of many professional organisation.
It also stated that Agwu is an alumnus of University of Lagos where he bagged a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons and Masters in History, Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and International Public Relations.
He had since assumed office.
