Cleric Tasks Female Faithfuls On Total Restoration
The Rumueme Sec
tional Women Coordinator of Assemblies of God Nigeria Rev (Mrs) Chinyere Freedom-Anyaele, has joined forces with the General Council of Assemblies of God Nigeria to sue for the restoration of the total woman in the church.
Speaking with The Tide’s Women Desk soon after the celebration of the Mother’s Day in the whole Assemblies of God churches in Nigeria, Rev (Mrs) Anyaele who doubles as wife of the scribe of the Ikwerre South District of Assemblies of God Nigeria hailed the vision of the Church’s national women leaders for the choice of the year’s theme: “the restoration of the total woman”.
She said the theme was quite apt and timely as many have lost the joy of their salvation due to one problem or the other which she itemised to include spiritual, medical, social and even economical, stating that only an outright restoration of the woman could re-align her to the path of righteousness thereby restoring the right atmosphere of worship and fellowship in our churches today.
Meanwhile, in a teaching to commemorate the May 8, mothers day, the senior resident Pastor of Assemblies of God Church Agip Road, Rev Freedom Anyaele, had also sued for the restoration of the total woman in the church, he highlight spiritual, emotional, medical, financial enslavement as areas begging for restoration in the Christian woman.
Explaining restoration to mean “to re-establish a devastated situation, or to regain a lost value”, Rev Anyaele X-rayed the features of the spiritual and virtuous woman. He insisted on the need for the restoration of the spirituality, virtuous character and the beauty of the woman as the basis for the true and old time religion the church needs.
