The Tide Editor Loses Aunt
The death has been an
nounced of Mrs Justina Bond Accra-Jaja, an Aunt to the Deputy Editor of The Tide Newspapers, Mr Donald Mike-Jaja.
Aged 58, the late Justina Bond Accra-Jaja retired in June 2015 as a Director of Nursing in the Rivers State Ministry of Health.
She was also a former Principal, Rivers State School of Nursing, Port Harcourt.
Since her death on January 7, 2016 following a brief illness, her former colleagues in the state Ministry of Health have continued to pay visits and sign the condolence register at her Port Harcourt residence. Also paying a condolence visit to the late Director of Nursing’s residence were her colleagues and former students at the School of Nursing.
A burial programme released by her husband, Senibo Bond M Accra-Jaja indicates that a service of songs would be held at the New Covenant Anglican Church, No 5 Nzimiro Street Port Harcourt on Saturday in her honour.
The body of the late Justina Bond Accra-Jaja would be interred at the Port Harcourt Cemetery on Monday, the burial programme indicated.
Meanwhile, two socio-cultural groups, Mina Ogbo Ikina and Ibi-seighiapu Ogbo, all of Opobo Kingdom have sent condolence messages to the family of the deceased.
