Missing Baggage: CPC Issues 7-Day Ultimatum To Turkish Airlines

tection Council (CPC) has threatened to sanction Turkish Airlines over the Nigerian passengers’ missing luggage.
In a press statement, the CPC’s Director-General, Mrs. Dupa Atoki in Abuja on Monday said the authorities of the Airlines have failed to provide useful explanation on the luggage and abuse of customers rights.
Atoki said the airlines should realize that the days of impunity and abuse of consumer’s rights are over in Nigeria stressing that the airlines should have treated passengers clains, with utmost good faith.
She said CPC wil not allow any company to mete out to Nigerian consumers treatment unwarranted and unwastranted on the psyche of the people stressing that the operations of the airlines are regulated within international standards domesticated by the country.
The CPC DG said that the airlines need to convince the commission clearly that complaints of the passengers over the luggage and abuse of consumers right have been property addressed within seven-days failing which the commission will take appropriate action against the airlines authorities in the country.
