Activist Wants Ladies To Be Wary Of Gold Diggers
In a bid to tackle the recur
rent cases of female victims who claim to have been duped by some supposed eligible bachelors, a human rights activist, Mrs Jacinta Ogbedeleto, on Sunday advised mature ladies to be cautious of young men who disguised as eligible bachelors just to grab their possessions.
“Many well-to-do ladies who have crossed the age of 40 begin to get desperate to get hooked to a man and so are not cautious of the kind of men they get proposals from.
“These established ladies may have wealth and comfort but could not get men of their dreams at their early or youthful age, “ she said.
According to her, some young men take undue advantage of the desperation of such ladies to dispossess them of their wealth and sometimes abscond.
“These young men disguise that they love the advanced ladies and immediately they step into the marriage, they seek for large sums of money to set up a business,” she said.
The activist urged ladies to be vigilant when going into such relationships to avoid falling into the hands of such greedy and selfish men.
She said that such vigilance was necessary to prevent heartbreaks and other ugly results in their relationships.
