RSUST VC Tasks Staff On Efficiency

lor of Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST), Professor Blessing Didia has charged staff of the institution to be more efficient and dedicated to their duties in order to achieve policies and programmes of the university.
Prof. Didia was speaking at the commissioning of the Senior Staff Club building and end of year party of the University in Port Harcourt.
Prof. Didia said his administration was ready to give the university a new face-lift that would stand the test of time in the state, stressing that “without team work no administration can achieve its goals and objectives.
He urged both the academic and non-academic staff to support the government of Governor Nyesom Wike to give the state-owned university the best learning environment for quality education.
Earlier, the president of the Senior Staff Club of the university, Professor Ken Akaninwor commended the acting vice chancellor, Prof. Didia for the remodeling of the senior staff club building within three months in office.
Prof. Akaninwor said the club was incapacitated by the past administration and commended the acting vice chancellor for his exemplary leadership style.
According to him, the school was in darkness during the past administration, but the administration of Prof. Didia is gradually returning the school back to it’s glory.
He also thanked the new administration for the presentation of Christmas gifts to staff of the university, describing the gesture as the first of its kind in the history of the institution.
Prof. Akaninwor assured the acting vice chancellor of the club’s support in the discharge of his duties.
