Monarch To Partner Security Agents Against Criminals
The paramount ruler of
Rumuodara Community in the Obio/Akpor local government area, Eze John Enyinda Amadi III has pledged to work with the security agencies for the protection of lives and property in the area.
Eze Amadi, who said this shortly after his coronation as the paramount ruler of the community said that there would be no hiding place for cultists, kidnappers and other miscreants in the community.
The Rumudara monarch, however, assured the people that his reign would initiate series of programmes to improve the conditions of youths and women in the area and therefore siolicited the supports of the people to enable him succeed. He said his ascendence to the throne was a call for service that must be fulfilled.
In his word: “This is a very great honour and today I have a task to work for the progress of the community and take care of the welfare of my people to the glory of God,” he said.
The paramount ruler of Mgbuesilaru community, Eze Ejike Weli, expressed confidence on the ability of Eze Amadi to rise to the challenge of the office.
He, however, advised him to always be patient with his subjects even as he called for support from the people to enable the new ruler succeed in his reign.
Speaking to newsmen the palace secretary, Mr Joe Onukem, said that the choice of Eze Amadi was based on the tradition and customs of Rumuodara community.
Onukem also noted the contributions of Eze Amadi to the development of Rumuodara community and assured of massive support to his reign.
