Foundation Gives Scholarships To 20 Orphans

About 20 indigent or
phans of Emohua Local Government Area have benefitted from the 5th edition of the Lucky Warluh Foundation for orphans and widows annual scholarship programme.
The beneficiaries who are all undergraduates were presented with a cheque of fifty thousand Naire each.
The Executive Director of the Foundation, Hon. Lucky Worluh who presented the cheques during a ceremony at St John’s Anglican Church Rundele said that the ceremony was in line with his commitment towards improving the condition of the less privileged in the area.
Hon Worluh who was represented by the former Secretary of the Emohua Local Government Council, Mr Godson Egwanwor also said that the programme was inline with Governor Amaechi’s commitment towards creating opportunity for everyone to excel in his chosen career.
He urged the beneficiaries to make proper use of the money to improve their condition.
Also speaking, the Vicar of St John’s Anglican Church, Rundele, Venerable F.N. Okechukwu thanked Hon Lucky Worluh for the gesture, stressing that it would assist the beneficiaries to complete their programmes.
Venerable Okechukwu also enjoined the beneficiaries to make maximum use of the money given to them.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to newsmen later on, thanked the Foundation for including them among the beneficiaries this year.
Astudent of the Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori Mr Samuel ThankGod, said that the money would be used to pay his school fees.
He urged other privileged individuals to emulate Hon Worluh by assisting the less-privileged.
Also speaking, another beneficiary, Mrs Msilem Eunice of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (UoE) also thanked Hon Worluh for the inclusion of her name this time around and prayed God to continue to bless him to do more for the people.
