Mmadueke House Wins NNSS, PH Inter-House Sports
Mmadueke House has
emerged winner of the 12th Annual – Inter House Sports competition of the Nigerian Navy Secondary School (NNSS) Borikiri, Port Harcourt, held at the weekend.
The competition which had several events including match past by the four Houses in the school saw Mmadueke’s House clin overall first position in the competition by 11.4 points.
Spiff’s House and Saidu House placed second and third positions respectively, as Otiko’s House finished last (fourth in the competition.
However, in the sack race event, girls, Otiko House emerged first, Spiff’s House second and Saidu’s House was in third position. In the boys sack race, Otiko’s House clinched first, Mmadueke House second and Spiff’s House came third respectively.
Meanwhile, in the invitational relay, primary schools (girls), Navy Path finder primary school emerged first, sunrise primary school came second and NOWA came third position, also in the (boys) relay Nigeria Navy primary pathfinder took first, sunrise second and NOWA took third position respectively.
In invitational relay secondary (boys) Immaculate Heart Secondary took first, Army Day School second and Comprehensive Secondary took third place.
While, in the (girls) event Fatima school Clinched first, Immaculate second and Holy Rosary Secondary School came third position.
The Climax of the competition was the presentation of gifts and trophies to eventual winners of the competition.
