RSG Opens Bid For 2015 Calendars, Diaries
The Rivers State Govern
ment has opened the bid for the production of the 2015 Government Official Calendars and Diaries with four companies participating in the bidding process.
The four companies are Fine Print Manufacturing and Company Limited, Vedan Zeal Marketing Communication Limited, Perfect Printers Limited and Impact Edge Limited.
Declaring the bidding process open, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Communications, Mrs. Cordelia Peterside, said that the ceremony was to ensure due process in the award of contract for the production of the Calendars and Diaries.
Mrs Peterside said that the process would not fall below the standard already established by law, stressing that government is working hard to ensure that it takes delivery of both calendars and diaries early enough for distribution next year.
In an interview with The Tide at the end of the bidding process, she said that a technical committee would be constituted to study the submissions made by the contractors and make its report available within the next one week.
Also speaking, the representatives of the four companies bidding for the production of the calendars and Diaries expressed satisfaction with the bidding process.
The representatives of the companies which include; Damiture Ogunleye of Verdant zeal, Ademola Andrew of Perfect Printer, Philip Akan of Impact Edge and Adebowale Adetuji of Fine Print thanked the ministry for making the process transparent.
