Dolphins’ Edouk In Tunis For Esperance
Dolphins star striker
Emem Eduok has arrived Tunis with a view to signing a two-year contract with Esperance, according to Tidesports source.
Earlier local media reports had suggested Eduok will head to Europe in the New Year.
Tidesports gathered that Eduok, who scored 20 goals in the league last season, arrived Tunis on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old striker was the second highest goal scorer in the Nigeria league behind record man Mfon Udoh of Enyimba and he set a record of being the first player to score six goals in a game in the history of Nigeria league when he helped his side to beat Nembe City 6-0.
Garba Lawal, Gabriel Okolosi, Michael Eneramo and Julius Aghahowa are among the Nigeria stars who have featured for the famous ‘Blood and Gold’.
Dolphins have placed a transfer fee of a million dollars on the striker.
He scored the first goal at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium in Uyo on his debut for Nigeria ‘B’ in a friendly against Ghana last month.
