2015: Group Mobilises Against Corrupt Politicians

organisation in Nigeria, The Mass Movement for Good Governance (MMGG) has vowed to work against the re-election of corrupt politicians in 2015.
The National Coordinator of the movement, Bishop Godswill Jumbo who disclosed this at a special thanksgiving service in Port Harcourt also pronounced curses on those planning to rig the 2015 general elections.
He also attributed the crisis rocking the major political parties in Nigeria to divine intervention, stressing that the Lord is about to do a new thing in Nigeria to end further sufferings of His children.
The cleric said that, the masses would no longer accept the situation where leaders loot away public funds and perpetuate themselves in office.
Bishop Jumbo said that the masses of Nigeria would use their votes in 2015 to decide who their leaders would be, stressing that the body was already creating awareness among the people on the need to vote out corrupt leaders during the forth-coming general elections.
He reiterated that, the prayer was organised to seek God’s intervention in the affairs of the nation, especially the forthcoming general elections and the on-going campaign against terrorism.
The MMGG Coordinator used the occasion to call on Christians to continue with their prayers to save Nigeria from calamities during the forth-coming elections.
Also speaking, a member of the group, Pastor Chioma Collins said that Christians from all denominations were being mobilised to vote for credible candidates irrespective of party affiliation.
According to him, Christians will not vote against their conscience.
