GM Urges Youths To Guard Future
Youths in the country
have been urged to avoid acts capable of endangering their future.
The Founder/Initiator of Leadership Attitude Character Excellence, LACE, a Non-Governmental Organisation in the State, Ms. Mediline Tador stated this while delivering a lecture tagged, “Perils of Secretive Life” for students of Zina Academy, Nyokuru in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State as part of her commitment to enhance moral values of teenage girls and boys in rural communities.
Ms Tador who is also the General Manager of the Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation, explained that the organization is poised towards mentoring and monitoring the growth of young children to become transparent and focused leaders of tomorrow.
She stressed the need for the students to believe in themselves, stand for the truth and above all fear God.
She also used the forum to commend the Proprietor of the school, Deacon Baritorn Lenu Kpagih for his bold step in brining development to his people through quality education.
Earlier in his address, the Vice Principal of the School, Mr. Goodluck Miwari thanked the General Manager of Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation and the Initiator of LACE and her team for their inspiration to develop young people in the society.
Mr. Miwari who described Zina as a centre of excellence, said the lecture will enhance moral and academic performance of the students.
According to our man, Anya Godpower Lekia who was on the team, the highpoint of the event was the presentation of hand-washing equipment and sensitizers to the school.
