Twelve Ships To Berth At Rivers Port

Position of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Rivers Port has indicated that twelve ships laden with various items are expected to berth at the Port.
They include, MV Four Emerald, MT Sea Voyager, MV Bold Voyager, MV Asian Wind, MT Rosemary, MV Vega Lea, MV Sea Athena and MV Nova Bretagne.
Others are MV Sparcetus, MT Rose Mary, MT Breeze and MT United Venture.
The Tide correspondent gathered that out of the twelve vessels, four ships, MV Four Emerald, MV Asian Wind, MV Vega Lea and MV Sea Anthena are with bulk rice in bags, MV Bold Voyager and MV Sparcetus with bulk salt while MV Nova Bretagne is laden with cartons of frozen fish.
It was also gathered that MT Sea Voyager, MT Rosemary, MT Rose Mary and MT United Venture are carrying Dual Purpose Kerosene, while MT Breeze is laden with premium motor spirit.
Our correspondent reports that three ships, Ivory Dawn, Orion Bay and Lord are awaiting at the Fairway Buoy for clearance to berth.
It would be recalled that 17 ships arrived at the Port in the last three days.
