19th NSF: Rivers Cyclists Ready For Medal Haul

Association has said that preparations are in top gear for the forthcoming 19th National Sports Festival tagged, “2014 Paradise Games”, scheduled to hold in Calabar, Cross River State later this year.
The athletes, who are presently in camp told Tidesports that they are working hard to ensure that the association excel when the fiesta gets underway.
Tidesports gathered that the team has sustained the monthly cycling competition which takes place every first Saturday of every month as part of preparations to fortify the state cyclists for the task ahead.
The association which attributed its previous success to commitment and hard work added that this year’s NSF would not be an exception to their glory.
The Tidesports gathered that the team missed three major competitions recently, in Ghana, Togo and Benin Republic.
It would be recalled that the one scheduled to be hosted by Ghana was postponed indefinitely and others were due to lack of funds.
