Okorocha Delivers 1,000 kms Of Roads In Three Years

Okorocha of Imo State has said his administration has constructed over 1,000 Kilometres of roads in the last three years.
Okorocha said this while addressing members of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) who were in the state for their standing committee meeting.
“The focus on road construction is to open up the state and attract investors,’’ he said.
The governor said some of the roads were already inaugurated while others were at various stages of completion.
He said the state had also invested massively in the area of health delivery as a state specialist Hospital had been upgraded and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
“This is to aid in bringing healthcare closer to the people,’’ the governor said.
In the area of education, Okorocha said his administration had introduced free education at all levels, including the provision of free books, uniforms, bags and pairs of shoes.
“We have also been providing stipends to the pupils,’’ he said.
