Council Chairman Distributes Chairs, Desks To Schools
The Chairman, of
Etsako-East Local Government Council of Edo State, Mr Suleiman Afegbua, says that the council has distributed 5,000 chairs and desks to primary schools in the area.
Afegbua stated this in Agenebode, Etsako-East Local Council, while receiving another set of chairs and desks to be distributed to other schools in the area.
“The distribution of the chairs and desks is the third in the series, since the inception of the present administration.
“And we will continue to sustain the tempo, until all the schools in the area are furnished for conducive learning.
“By the distribution of these chairs and desks, we are re-emphasising that investments in education and infrastructure are an important aspect in delivering qualitative education,’’ he said.
The council chairman added that the council would soon receive delivery of another set of furniture, to cover all schools in the area.
Receiving the items, the Supervisory Councillor for Education, Mr Ojiko Moses, promised to ensure that the furniture was adequately distributed.
