Delta Assembly Confirms 28 Nominees For Appointments
The Delta State House
of Assembly has confirmed the nomination of 28 persons for the boards of some agencies in the state.
Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan on November 21 sent the list of nominees to the legislature for screening and confirmation.
The confirmed nominees will serve on the boards of government agencies like Delta State Rural Development Agency (RDA), Delta State Broadcasting Service (DBS) Asaba, Delta State Broadcasting Service (DBS) Warri, and Delta State Tourism Board (DSTB).
On the board of RDA, Mrs Ifeoma Agbomah will serve as chairman, while Asigo Akpokabowei, Omatsola Williams, Emmanuel Nwaoboshi, Friday Okoh, Benard Orhuerho, Wellington Oyibo and Itiako Malik will serve as members.
The board of DBS, Asaba, will be chaired by Mrs Olivia Agbojoh, while Mrs Gift Gomere, Mr Tony Odita, Mr Boro Opudu, Mr Iwuchukwu Akpotowho, Mr Richard Oteno and Chief Christiana Obafukoro will serve as members.
The board of DBS, Warri, has Mr Theo Azinge as its chairman, while Dr Henry Emelue, Mr Eluebo Ewere, Mrs Flora Alata, Dr Oghomi Ighomaro and Mr Leader Eju are members.
DSTB’s board will be chaired by Mr Efe Afe, while Chief Peter Okolotu, Mr Hycinth Iyere, Mr James Youmu, Mrs Amah Agbojoh, Mr Abel Eyube and Mr Joe Morgan are members.
