Recently, Nigeria’s queen of songs Onyeka Onwenu was blessed with a Federal appointment by President Goodluck Jonathan who appointed her as the executive director/chief executive officer (CEO) of the National Centre for Women Development (NCWD) Abuja.
Her appointment according to our source is contained in a letter signed by the secretary to the Federal Government of Nigeria, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, the appointment took effect from September 13, 2013.
In another development, another top artiste in the country Black Face, one of the co-founders of the defunct Plantaizhun Boyz Group signed a N52 million contract with Franchise Events Limited. The deal which also includes a car and a house makes Black Face. The Label’s biggest name at the moment.
