The people of Oyigbo Local Government Area have re-affirmed their unalloyed support and loyalty to the Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi-led administration.
Making the declaration during the inauguration of a 23 member local government executive of the Rivers State Movement for Good Governance (RMGG), Secretary of the movement, Mr Stanley Nwogu, said the people of Oyigbo had witnessed developmental strides in all spheres of life, noting that the provision of infrastructure in the area had endeared the people to Governor Amaechi.
Nwogu said the inauguration was a testimony of their belief in the leadership of Governor Amaechi stating that he remained unequalled in human and material infrastructural development for the local government area.
He also lauded the choice of Dr Nabbs Imegwu as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, describing him as a team player, humble and service- oriented personality who had touched lives of widows, children and the less privileged.
