Seven Firms Bid For Rivers 2014 Calendar
Seven companies are bidding for the supply of the 2014 Rivers State calendars and diaries. The companies are Jema print services limited, Fine Print Manufacturing company Limited, and multinational concepts limited.
The rest are; impact Edge Limited, Oleanprint Communications Limited Celebrity Exclusive Auden and Newton Limited and Verdant Zeal Marketing Communication limited.
Declaring the bid process open last Friday, in Port Harcourt, the permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information / Communication Mrs Jokotade Adamu said the bidding process is anchored on transparency, noting that all the bidders have been given equal opportunity to showcase their capabilities for the Job.
The Permanent Secretary who is also the Chairman of the Ministry Tenders Board said that a technical committee will be constitueted to look at the various submissions.
This is bid opening. We have all seen that it was fair, it was open. Even from the comments of the bidders, they appreciate the process” she said.
The Permanent Secretary also commended the bidders for their levels of maturity through out the period of the bidding process and stressed the need for it to be sustained. Mrs Jokotode also assured the bidders that the board will reach them after the submission of report by the technical committee that will be constituted to look into their various documents.
Earlier secretary of the Board, Mr Rufus Direh had told them that every aspect of their submission will be thoroughly examined.
He said that this is inline with the culture of openness and transparency of not only the Board but the Ministry of Information / Communications.
