RSNC Assures BSN Of Support
The Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC), says it will parner with the Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) to spread the gospel across the world.
The RSNC Manager Mr Celestine Ogolo said this during the Bible Society of Nigeria Rivers/Bayelsa Area life members conference held in Port Harcourt Tuesday.
Ogolo, who spoke through the Business Editor, Mr Donald Mike Jaja, said The Tide is ever willing to partner the public in any of its good ventures as a way of contributing its quota to the nation building.
According to him, The Tide has all it takes to reach out to the people, adding that it will do its best to ensure that the conference received the needed publicity.
The Guest speaker, Rev. Ogadimma Edward Jim-Odoi, who spoken on theme of the conference. “Accountability,” said Christains ought to have the spirit of accountability and trust.
Jim-Odoi, noted that the people of God should also be zealous in doing good and not to lazy about, thereby, hiding their talents.
He explained that God’s wrath fell on Cain due to his inability to give account of his brother (Abel), adding that human race is accountable to God.
The cleric also enjoined the people to serve both God and humanity with a sence of humility and accountability.
The chairman of the Rivers/Bayelsa Area, Ven. Rufus T. Etire, in his address, also stressed the need for Christains to live accountable lives.
