Eight Clubs Battle To Become Samsung’s Champions
Eight grassroots football clubs based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State will today commence a race to become Samsung’s champions in an invitational grassroots competition being organised by the electronic giant.
The clubs, Port Harcourt City FC, Glodek, Legend, Hollando, McJEFF, Bethlehem Angels, ASS Port Harcourt and Massgulf will be involved in a three day knock out games to decide the champion beginning from Today to Friday at the Liberation Stadium.
Speaking at the draws yesterday, Head, Corporate Marketing, Samsung Electronics, West Africa, Donald Etim said that the football competition, which had been organised in Lagos was part of activities marking the 2011 Samsung Week, a time to provide public services and demonstrate care to the community.
