Ibrahim On Trial At VV Venlo
Nigeria junior international Rabiu Ibrahim is undergoing trials at Dutch club VV Venlo, according to the club’s official report.
Ibrahim, 19, has endured a disappointing time at Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon, where he has failed to make a mark and is now looking for regular football.
Ibrahim was a member of the Nigeria team that won the Under-17 World Cup in 2007 and was also a member of the Nigeria team that lost to Germany in the knockout stage of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Egypt.
VV Venlo already have two other Nigerians on their books, and have recently signed on league top scorer Ahmed Musa.
