Group Canvasses Support For Jonathan, S’South Govs
A Niger Delta based global prayer mobilisation ministries, the Endtime Prophetic Prayer Network (EPPN) has canvassed massive support by the people of the region for President Goodluck Jonathan and the six governors of the region.
The National President of the Network, Rev. Godswill Jumbo, who made the call at the body’s 8th Annual South South prayer conference in Port Harcourt said that the conference was aimed at seeking divine intervention in the affairs of the nation, and blamed the increasing level of sectarian violence, cultism and other social vices of the spiritual backwardness of the society.
“Our zone is today saddled with underdevelopment, increasing crime and corruption, secret and open cult activities, bad leadership in some quarters and political crises. The admixture of these complex realities saddle our leaders with spiritual drought”, he noted.
In his speech, an Environmentalist, Chief Jasper Jumbo, noted that the resources of the South South will no longer be pillaged by any leader.
Chief Jumbo also predicted the transformation of the region from glory to glory.
He thanked the network for the conference and urged other organisations to emulate it.
