PHACCIMA Harps On Dev
The Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (PHACCIMA) says its main focus is to encourage business development by providing the necessary mechanism and procedures.
President of the chamber in Rivers State, Engr. Vincent Furo said this while declaring open the maiden Port Harcourt Winners Domestic Trade Fair organised by the Winners’ Chapel at its zonal headquarters.
Engr. Furo commended the idea of a church embarking in such a business promotion programme aimed at encouraging members to invest in meaningful business ventures.
“The idea of organising this trade fair is as good as it will expose members of your church to the art of business:, he stressed and praised the zonal pastor of the church for his initiative.”
Also speaking, the zonal pastor of the Winner Chapel, Rev. David Adeoye explained that the Trade Fair was to create an avenue for members of the church into business to exhibit and market their products.
According to him, by so doing the church is preparing its members to be able to empower and cater for their families, pointing out that the programme would take the participants to another level in business.
Pastor Adeoye noted “God has given us everything to make life meaningful and He wants everyone to work, hence, He warned that “he who does not work needs not eat”.
Chairman, Trade Fair Organising Committee, Charles Beke, posited that the programme which kicked-off with seminars was in line with the scripture as a means of exposing and marketing the various talents and business of their brethren and enjoined participants to take it seriously.
