Total Gets Kudos Over Sports Promotion
The President of Port Harcourt Club, Mr Churchill Iti has lauded the efforts and contributions of Total E and P, Port Harcourt towards promoting sports and improving facilities at all sections of the club.
According to him, the company was instrumental to the construction of the modern Access Control System through the donation of N3.5 million to the development of the club, pointing out that the management decided to use the money for the project which turned out to be first of its kind in the Niger Delta region.
Mr Iti, who made the commendation recently expressedhis administration’s desire to ensure that all facilities in the club are given facelift inorder to enable members recreate effectively after the hustling and burstling of the day.
The president thanked members for their co-operation and charged them to give the new management their co-operation and support “so as to move the club to the next level.”
In his remark, the Deputy Managing Director, Total E and P, Port Harcourt, Engr Alek Musa assured that the company will not relent in carrying out its corporate social responsibilities.
He commended the management of the club for utilizsing the company’s gesture to the club in improving its facilities, adding that “it is a welcome development and the company is very proud with the management’s investment of our contribution.”
