The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) Corporate Transport Scheme in Rivers State has given Franchise assurance of adequate protection of vehicles hinder its fleet.

Speaking to The Tide at Labour House in Port Harcourt, the General Manager of the NLC Corporate transport outfit, Mr. Messiah Musan, said that the corporate transport is poised to ensure that every vehicle registered under its fleet is adequately protected from the activities of road touts.
He said that necessary and relevant security agents have been contacted, and that corporate bodies who pay the salaries of members of the NLC ought not to suffer such embarrassment, intimidation and forceful extortion from alleged revenue agents in the transport sector.
