FG Committed To Early Completion Of Abuja Light Rail
The Federal Government has restated its determination to ensure the completion of the Abuja light rail project. Minister of the federal capital territory, Adamu Aliero, said this during an inspection of the site at Idu Karimo at the outskirt of Abuja.
The project which cost N17 billion is expected to be completed in 2013.
The minister said that the project is very dear to the federal government. “We have addressed virtually all the problems, we don’t expect anything to disrupt the implementation of this contract.
“If there is anything you want the government to do, for you let us know, we don’t want any excuse for non performance”, the minister said.
