Nworuh Ready To Quit Danish Club
Striker Jude Nworuh says he is no longer willing to play for Danish club FC Midtjylland.
“Even if they offer me more money, I don’t think I can play here anymore as I am not happy at the way I have been treated here,” he tells Tidesports source.
Reports in the Danish media last week stated that club officials claimed they offered the player around €250 000 in his new contract, which was rejected. But Nworuh’s advisor Adedapo Kujore-Olowu dismissed the claims.
“What they offered Jude was net wages of €2 500 per month. That is ridiculous and we had to reject it. They are not treating the boy right at all. At this stage in his career, he is living in one room at a hostel and rides a bicycle to work while his team mates drive flashy cars.”
He reiterated that the player was no longer happy at the club and would be joining up with the Nigeria Under-20 squad in Qatar this week.
“That is more important to him than staying at a club where he is not happy. He will join up with the Flying Eagles as soon as they return from Egypt.”
