NOC Organises Course For Sports Administrators
The Nigeria Olympic Committee in conjunction with the International Olympic Committee, will be holding a-three-day seminar on sports administration for sports administrators/officers of Nigeria Association of Physical & Health Education and other sports organisations from Wednesday through Friday in Lagos.
The sports administration course will equip sports administrators with the knowledge and tools that will help bring about changes and improvements in their sports organisations.
Tidesports source reports that the course will also help stakeholders develop, maintain solid and sustainable administrative structures that can deliver the support needed by the athletes and the administrators.
This edition of the programme will hold on virtual and physical space.
The following course directors approved in Nigeria by the International Olympic Committee include Mr Emmanuel Nweri, Dr Esther Aluko and Dr Simon Ebhojaiye who will anchor the programme with other invited speakers such as Prof Fasan Clement, Programme Director of IOC Advanced Sports Management Course, Mr Olumide Oyedeji – Chairman, NOC Athletes Commission, Prof Abiodun Moronfolu, Dean, Department of Physical and Health Education, Lagos State University.
The course is the 3rd training by the Nigeria Olympic for NAPHER-SD members and will be declared open by Engr, Habu Gumel, President, Nigeria Olympic Committee.
