HFN Scribe Explains Delay In Handball League
Scribe of the caretaker committee of the Handball Federation of Nigeria, Haruna Maigidansanma, has offered reason for the delay in the staging of the 2021 Handball Premier League, which he stressed was borne out of a technical decision to grow the league and improve it competitiveness.
Maigidansanma, speaking in a chat with Tidesports source, said the Handball League has been played on the basis of knowing champions and teams, knowing their position without really having relegated teams play in the lower league before coming for another league.
He said it became necessary to have the lower National league staged which will come up in July before having the Premier league which has now been fixed for November 2021.
