CAFCC: Enyimba’s Captain Hopeful Of Qualification
Despite suffering a humiliating 4-1 defeat to Pyramids in Sunday’s Caf confederation Cup first leg quarter-final clash in Cairo, Enyimba’s captain, Austin Oladapo, is hopeful of turning things around in Aba.
In a chat with Tidesports source, Oladapo said the players will not look down on themselves and work towards qualification the way they did during the group stages.
“It was a tougher group stage and we were at the brink of elimination but we fought until the end to achieve our progress in the early stages,” he said.
“We are not going to be looking down on ourselves, as Enyimba Football Club, we have done well for ourselves, the fans shouldn’t be worried, we are going to make them proud, we will make sure we work on ourselves to ensure the North African team does not give us a setback this time around.”
