Ilechukwu Not Happy Despite Win Over Akwa United
Heartland boss, Fidelis Ilechukwu has expressed his disatisfaction despite his side’s 2-1 victory over league challengers Akwa United over the weekend.
Speaking exclusively to Tidesports source, the former MFM coach said he is still not happy over the non-compliance on the part of the board in ensuring the ban is lifted for his players to be registered for the league.
“The team is still struggling and we have only won because of personal character put forward by the individual brilliance of some players.”
“The boys were motivated to beat Akwa United but most of our top players are not still registered to play in the league, so we are still struggling.”
Heartland FC has won two games this season despite their financial challenges and inability to register the needed players, one against Enyimba and another against Akwa United.
