PFN Donates 10,000 Stickers, Flyers To Information Ministry
The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Rivers State Council, has donated 10, 000 copies of Our State Our Responsibility Advocacy stickers and flyers to the Rivers State Ministry of Information and Communications.
President of the Fellowship, Apostle Zilly Aggrey said the gesture was in fulfillment of a promise made during an advocacy visit by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim to the PFN.
Apostle Aggrey who was represented by Archbishop Eddy Ogbonda said the situation will help to stimulate and promote the interest of the state.
Responding, the Permanent Secretary, Rivers State Ministry of Information and Communications, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim said the ministry is overwhelmed by the gesture of the fellowship.
Nsirim also described the situation as a divine endorsement of the advocacy campaign. “This is beyond stickers, the material is beyond paper work.
“There is a spirit attached to it”, he said
The Permanent Secretary further said the vocabulary is now on the lips of every one, stressing that the general acceptance of the programme across the state shows that the hands of God are in it.
According to him, the ministry is ready to partner with stakeholders in changing the negative narrative about the state.
The permanent secretary also charged the PFN to make all their churches centres of prayers for Governor Wike and the administration.
“The gesture is a major boost for the initiative. It gives hope that there are Christians in Rivers State who support the present administration,” he said.
