Real Stars Set Eye On Promotion
Ahead of kick off of the 2019/2020 Nigeria National League season on November 1, Real Stars of Kaduna Team Manager, Garba Lawal, says the team will pick the promotion ticket at the end of the season.
Lawal said in an interview with newsmen yesterday in Kaduna that the team envisaged a very competitive league and was well prepared for a successful season.
“This NNL league is going to be more competitive because the relegated teams coming back to play in the league season will want to go back to the professional league where they played.
“Teams like Niger Tornadoes, El- Kanemi, Kwara United and Yobe Desert Warriors will be playing with us and all from the North to book the ticket for the professional league.
“Real Stars will be out to go a step further than the achievement of last season where we failed to achieve promotion.”
He said the club will keep pushing stronger and better till they achieve promotion to play in the professional league.
“I believe we will come out completely better and more stronger to complement our earlier performances towards ensuring we pick the sole ticket in the group.”
Lawai said, “We didn’t recruit any player for this season as we have talented youngsters who are ready to get the job done”.
