NAWOJ Hails Ayade Over Member’s Appointment
The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Cross River State Chapter, has congratulated her Secretary, Comrade Imani Odey on her recent appointment as a Senior Special Assistant on Electronic Media to the Governor.
This was contained in a statement issued by the association’s state Chairman, Comrade Umo Basi-Edet.
Basi-Edet while describing her appointment as well deserved, lauded the Governor for making the “best choice.”
The NAWOJ Chairperson noted that “as a Professional Journalist, Imani has proven her mettle and has always distinguished herself in the discharge of her duty.”
The Association “expressed confidence that the newly appointed SSA will bring her wealth of experience to bear in the Industrialization drive of the State Government.”
Recall that Imani was first appointed a Special Assistant but was recently elevated to the position of a Senior Special Assistant on Electronic Media to the Governor.
