Cleric Hails Positive Transformation Of Youths
The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Apostle Chinyere Gift Chibuzor, has expressed gladness over the positive transformation in Nigerian youth through his Ministry’s free skills acquisition training centres across the Rivers State.
He made the remark while presenting certificates to over 283 graduates of the centres in the state, adding that graduates from Biara in Gokana centre would be given one free serving machine each.
The Apostle said it is a thing of joy to see hopeless Nigerian youth turn to Christ and become useful citizens of the society.
“I am very glad and full of joy to see Nigerian youth repent from cultism, kidnapping and militancy activities to become useful citizens of the state and country at large.
Chibuzor stated also that both the less-privileged in the society, whose hopes were lost are now being reintegrated into the society through the Ministry’s Free Foundation Training School powered by the tithes and offerings collected from the church members.
He promised to rent a shop and also give a take-off grant in addition to the free sewing machine given to Madam Love, the only physically-challenged woman among the 283 graduates.
Other beneficiaries include 70 computer operators from the Harbour Road Centre, 188 students from the furniture making, scaffolding, oil and rig, HSE, paint making, driving and instrumentation.
One of the beneficiaries, a Muslim, Musa Abdullayi “thanked the G.O. for granting them the opportunity to participate in the free training programme and for not minding which religion anyone comes from because at first, I thought I would not be chosen, but was encouraged to try due to the messages I hear the G.O preach on radio”.
