Monarch Warns Youth Against Vices
The Paramount Ruler of
Rumukwurukwuru community in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Eze Clifford Ken Iwezor, has warned youth of the community against involvement in social vices.
Eze Iwezor, who said this during the inauguration of the Rumukwurukwuru Council of Chiefs also promised to liaise with companies operating in the area to provide employment opportunities for youth in the area.
He charged the chiefs to educate their subjects on the importance of peaceful co-existence in the area.
Meanwhile, Eze Iwezor has assured of the preparedness of his people to give continous support to Governor Wike’s policies and programmes.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after the inauguration of the Rumuwkwurukwuru Council of Chiefs, the traditional ruler said that the people of Mgbuesilaru and the entire Obio/Akpor Local Government Area are happy with the performances of Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike within the last one year in office.
The monarch particularly commended the governor for the construction of roads in the area and other parts of the state, the completion of abandoned projects by previous administration in the state as well as the prompt payment of workers salaries.
Eze Iwezor also advised the people of the state irrespective of their political affiliations to give their support to Governor Wike to enable him develop the state.
He advised companies operating in the area to listen to the people through the development of empowerment programmes for the people.
