Skipper Confident Heartland Will Survive Relegation Threats
Heartland currently
sits three points adrift of safety, and the Naze Millionaires’ skipper, Chinedu Efugh is confident they can beat the drop
Efugh has confidently stated that the Naze Millionaires’ stay in the red zone is temporary.
Heartland FC is 18th on the NPFL log with 11 points ahead of rock bottom team, Ikorodu United, but Efugh has admitted that team work is key to keeping their NPFL status intact this term.
“I believe that we have what it takes to move out of the relegation zone. We are really working hard and by God’s grace we shall move out of that zone,” Efugh stated.
“As the leader of the team, I’ve continued to speak to each player on the importance of believing that we can do it. We know the situation we are in as we speak. Everyone in the team is truly working together and bearing a positive mindset that we come out of the danger zone.
“The fans are also worried, no one is happy with our current position and we have consistently make them believe on and off the pitch that we shall made them proud.”
